ABOUT US
Established in 1960, Bexley North Football Club is one of the large Bayside Clubs in the Football St George Association with the primary focus of engaging and developing Youth players. We are a multicultural, diverse and inclusive Club, and one of the largest FSG Clubs in the Bayside LGA in terms of Youth numbers. We have approx. 750 players in the Club, with strong representation in the U6-U18 age groups. Our Club also has a dedicated Female Football Program with a very strong female participation and success across ALL age groups and levels.
The Club is completely self-sufficient, with a permit directly with Bayside Council for our Home Ground at Kingsgrove Ave Reserve (KAR). The Club has strong ties to the local community and has one of the best reputations in the district. BNFC caters for players of all ability, from first time, to fun and social, to the more competitive and higher skilled players through our Advanced & Development Programs for ALL kids.
The Club has a vision to increase local participation in sport, increase community engagement and become a Centre of Excellence (COE) in the area for Youth players, many of which cannot afford the excessive fees associated with Professional Training. BNFC was one of the first Club’s to provide Professional Training to Youth players and is now expanding the Program further.
BNFC is currently working with Bayside Council to improve the facilities at home ground. A new amenities building has been approved, with conceptual designs released for community consultation in EARLY 2023. Community feedback and support has been very strong. Construction is due to commence at the start of 2024. The playing surface is currently undergoing some enhancements as part of the Bayside Council Park Rejuvenation Program, with works to be completed by end of 2023. Given the size of our Club and training requirements, future consideration for an all-weather playing surface is required and we continue to work with Bayside Council and NSW Government.
We look forward to welcoming you BNFC!
