BNFC 2020 Season In Review & 2021 Season Ahead

BNFC Members,

It gives me great pleasure to be writing this at the end of what has been a very challenging and unprecedented Football Season in 2020. It is remarkable that we managed to get close to a full season completed given the position we were facing with COVID prior to kick-off. I thank you all for your efforts and role within the Club. A special thanks to Football St George for ensuring the competition went ahead and tireless work that went behind the scenes. As we begin planning for 2021, we all still have a role to play ‘living with COVID’ and look forward to the year ahead.

I would like to take this opportunity to share with you some of this years highlights and the plans we have for the Club over the next few years.

The Club is aiming to develop and deliver our own in-house academy / advanced program for kids that want to take their game to the next level. The intent is to develop and retain our kids within the Club. More information to follow on this…

We have some ambitious plans in the coming years, but we always remember we are a Community Club that is striving to cater for ALL levels of players. Kids who want to have fun, play with their friends, the social side, to those kids who are more competitive and wish to advance their abilities. We are one of a few Clubs dedicated to U6-U18 development. The Club may not always get things right, and to the players and parents who feel let down, we sincerely hope to see you again at our Club in the future.

Regards
